Wynwood leaders carve out broad list of goals

Preventing another public relations disaster should the Zika virus make a re-appearance this summer, eventually expanding its boundaries, moving forward with a “woonerf” section for Northwest Third Avenue, making its preferences known if and when North Miami Avenue is redeveloped, and continuing to enhance security and sanitation were goals identified when leaders of the Wynwood Business Improvement District held a retreat last month.
Now add another goal to that list: finding a successor to Tom Curitore, BID executive director since the group’s infancy. Mr. Curitore announced last week that he is leaving to accept a position with the City of Miami Beach’s code enforcement team…To read the full story click here
