Downtown Development Authority hunts for director

Directors of Miami’s Downtown Development Authority voted unanimously Friday to use Korn Ferry Inc. to conduct a search to find a new executive director. The agreement is subject to the ability to “piggyback” on a City of Miami recruitment contract that is still being negotiated.
The authority is prepared to spend $65,000 on the search, but that amount might come down to $55,000, depending on the city contract.
