Fred Voccola: His Simpro Group built AI operating platform for trades

Since October 2025, Fred Voccola has been leading the Simpro Group as chairman and CEO and helping create the first AI-driven operating platform created especially for the trades.

The multi-billion-dollar global AI-powered operating platform is designed for commercial and residential trade companies, serving over 24,000 businesses and 500,000 people worldwide.

“Commercial and residential trades represent more than $150 billion in global economic activity and are the backbone of modern society,” Mr. Voccola said. “The Simpro Group builds the AI operating platform for those trades, helping contractors, technicians and field crews get paid faster, run smarter and grow stronger.”

As co-founder and former CEO of Kaseya, he spearheaded the company’s evolution into a global leader in AI-powered cybersecurity and IT management software for small to mid-sized businesses. Over the past decade, Kaseya grew to over $1.5 billion in annual revenue, completed 18 strategic acquisitions, and expanded to more than 5,000 employees worldwide. Mr. Voccola currently serves as the vice chairman of the board of directors at Kaseya.

Before his tenure at Kaseya, Mr. Voccola co-founded and held executive roles in multiple software and internet companies that consistently resulted in successful and profitable outcomes. He was the co-founder and president of Identify Software and Trust Technology Corporation.

Mr. Voccola is deeply committed to philanthropy. He founded and chairs the Cooper Voccola Family Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting conservative American-focused organizations and animal welfare initiatives. Beneficiaries include the America First Policy Institute, Disabled American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Leadership Institute, Judicial Watch, and the Christian Appalachian Project.

He also serves as a Trustee of Florida International University, where he works to shape the next generation of technology leaders.

During a brief downtime, he even wrote and published his book “The Coming Disruption: How AI First Will Force Organizations to Change Everything or Face Destruction” in late November 2025. Mr. Voccola distills the lessons learned from that journey into a direct, field-tested playbook for the new AI-First era of business. He provides a call to action for leaders, entrepreneurs and workers facing the fastest transformation in human history, and what they need to do immediately to become AI-First.

Mr. Voccola said he is now focused on helping Simpro to deliver the industry’s only AI-first operating platform purpose-built to double the profitability of commercial and residential trade customers.

Headquartered in Miami, Simpro is a prime example of how Miami has all the ingredients to become one of the country’s leading technology hubs, he said.

“They build our homes and schools, maintain our hospitals, protect our businesses, keep air, water, and energy flowing; even the future of AI – the data centers, the servers, the cooling systems – relies on them,” he added. “The trades build our world and keep us moving forward. Simpro builds the platform that pays them back.”

Mr. Voccola spoke with Miami Today reporter Abraham Galvan.

This week’s profile will appear in next year’s Book of Leaders.
