Rafael Reyes: Directing US Construction in broad reach in Miami-Dade
In a city defined by bold restaurants, nightlife, and luxury destinations, Rafael Reyes has built many of the spaces that define Miami’s lifestyle.
As president of US Construction, Mr. Reyes is the force behind some of South Florida’s most recognizable hospitality and entertainment venues, known for delivering complex, design-forward projects on accelerated timelines. From the rapid transformation of the Rusty Pelican to over 60 major builds at Miami International Airport and headline-making projects at Miami Worldcenter, including Sixty Vines and Serafina, to the recent renovation of Club Space, his work shapes the experiences of millions across the region each year.
A third-generation builder, Mr. Reyes brings a family-first philosophy to his leadership that’s rooted in craftsmanship, trust, and long-term relationships.
Now, as the nearly 50-year-old firm enters a new chapter of growth, Mr. Reyes says his expertise covers complex project execution, operational efficiency, and building strong client relationships. His ability to merge technical knowledge with a people-first approach has positioned US Construction as a trusted industry partner, he said.
Mr. Reyes spoke with Miami Today reporter Abraham Galvan.
