Transfer of Jungle Island lease for upgrade due in month

Less than a month away from closing their deal, the new Jungle Island leaseholders are excitedly looking forward to hitting the ground running with a $10 million investment in the animal-themed park just as soon as the paperwork is final.
The Miami City Commission on Nov. 17 approved a deal that terminates a lease and development agreement between the city and current leaseholders Parrot Jungle and Gardens of Watson Island Inc. and PJG Watson Island LLC, and transfers the lease to ESJ JI Leasehold LLC…To read the full story click here
