Rosy vision of Miami as cryptocurrency hub now bleak

The future of Miami as a cryptocurrency hub is uncertain as the overall digital trading world is crumbling.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez has consistently promoted cryptocurrency and even dubbed the city the “crypto capital.” Miami was to launch a unique collection of 56 non-fungible tokens, NFTs, in December 2022. The launch has since been stalled with no updates from the mayor or partners on the release.
