Path cleared to begin building One Brickell City Centre

Permits have been filed and a utility agreement signed, clearing the way for construction to begin this year on the most spacious office tower in South Florida, One Brickell City Centre. Then 80-story tower is expected to open in 2028.

On Feb. 13, demolition permits were filed with Miami’s building department. An active review is underway. According to the permit, total demolition of 221,243 square feet is planned at an estimated cost of $1.35 million. Alpha Wrecking Group is listed as the contractor.
