Miami is helping to support a summer jobs program for Liberty City teens to gain financial empowerment and work experience with a $400,000 contribution.
The Miami City Commission is to vote on the funding allocation today (5/9), sponsored by Mayor Francis Suarez and Chairwoman Christine King, who represents Liberty City. If approved, the money will employ the area’s youth residents for eight weeks beginning in June.
