City Manager Emilio T. González announced Monday the appointment of Joseph Napoli as deputy city manager and Sandra Bridgeman as assistant city manager.
Mr. Napoli previously was chief of staff at Miami International Airport, worked as a strategy and technology consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, and held numerous high-profile positions with the US Army. He joined the city April 2.
Ms. Bridgeman joined the city Monday as assistant city manager/chief financial officer. She most recently served as the chief financial officer for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. She previously worked as controller for the Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade Aviation Department, and held other finance and accounting positions in local government.
“We continue to attract talented professionals that are willing to join our team and help improve the quality of the services we provide to our residents,” said Mr. González. “Joseph Napoli and Sandra Bridgeman are dedicated public servants that I have known and worked with for many years. They are exceptionally qualified to help me lead the City of Miami.”
He worked with both when he was the county’s aviation director, a post he held before he was named city manager.
