Brightline bridge to Aventura Mall due in time for holiday shopping rush

A footbridge across Biscayne Boulevard from Brightline’s passenger rail station in Aventura to land owned by Aventura Mall should be completed by Thanksgiving “in time for the holiday rush at the mall,” the rail line’s senior vice president of development said last week.

“The bridge is ready. We’re just making sure that we’ve got a place to put the bridge,” Brian Kronberg told the Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust.
