11% of county’s vital traffic-controlling loops broken

Some 11% of county looped traffic signals are broken, impacting almost a quarter of total intersection traffic flow, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is telling commissioners this week.
The commission in March asked about the status of all traffic loops within the signal loop system, which aims to flow traffic better at intersections.
