Grove’s Regatta Harbour says waterfront bar & grill is near

In a long-anticipated move, the developer of Regatta Harbour, The TREO Group, has announced plans for Bayshore Club, a new waterfront bar and grill that will be featured in the growing mixed-use resort on the bay in Coconut Grove.

The development team partnered with Grove Bay Hospitality Group to bring the creative, modern restaurant experience that is slated to open in winter 2021.

To rise at 3385 Pan American Drive, amidst Regatta Harbour’s 9.5 acres along the Grove’s historic Dinner Key, Bayshore Club is to incorporate an open-air atmosphere with more than 7,000 square feet of interior and outdoor space overlooking Biscayne Bay.

Anchored by a 360-degree bar with natural, tropical elements and plush lounge seating areas, the restaurant menu will offer elevated pub food with Miami influences and a raw bar section.

“The announcement of Bayshore Club marks another pivotal step in our mission to activate the Coconut Grove waterfront with a variety of captivating lifestyle pursuits,” said Eduardo Garcia, principal of The TREO Group.

Bayshore Club’s nostalgic nod to mid-century travel pays homage to the destination’s past as Pan Am’s first seaplane terminal and hangar, said the developer. Curated by Celano Design Studio, historic elements of travel and aviation will be subtly detailed throughout the space, with interiors incorporating coastal and tropical elements inspired by the proximity to the ocean.

“At Bayshore Club, we want guests to feel transported to a vacation state of mind, removed from the daily hustle of city life,” said Francesco Balli, co-founder of Grove Bay Hospitality Group.

“Miami is such a beautiful city and the restaurant’s unique waterfront location on Biscayne Bay has stunning views, set in an area rooted in history; it’s the perfect spot to kick back with great food and drinks,” said Ignacio Garcia-Menocal, co-founder of Grove Bay Hospitality Group.

Bayshore Club is among Regatta Harbour’s mix of around-the-clock retailers and follows the opening of Anatomy and Wells Fargo.

Regatta Harbour is the combined effort of The TREO Group – a privately held real estate investment firm – the City of Miami, and the Miami Parking Authority.

The overall project is to remake the waterfront in an area that for years was home to Scotty’s Landing and The Chart House restaurants, adjacent to City Hall.

As part of the development, the City of Miami celebrated the opening of a municipal parking garage on Pan American Drive with its foundation of commercial spaces in August 2020. The facility is owned and operated by the parking authority. Anatomy and Wells Fargo are the first tenants in the 127,000-square-foot garage.

Regatta Harbour is being delivered in multiple phases, and the Arquitectonica-designed development is slated for completion in 2022.
