TV series on hard decisions by Hispanics seeks film grant

A series of hour-long television programs focused on the struggles of South Florida’s Latin community in making major decisions has applied for a $50,000 county grant to begin shooting in Miami-Dade this month.
The application comes from Cinemat Inc., which is making the programs to be distributed worldwide by NBC/Universal. The total programming budget is more than $1.5 million, according to the application.
