Rickenbacker work delayed as old seawall discovered

Miami-Dade County’s Transportation, Mobility, and Planning Committee has approved a two-month extension to the delayed construction and renovation on the Hobie Island section of the Rickenbacker Causeway, which has been ongoing for over a year and a half.
Completion of the work along the roadway linking Miami with Key Biscayne is now slated for December.
