Plans for tallest Miami tower grow two stories, but coming later

The Okan Tower in downtown Miami won’t be finished anywhere near as soon as Okan CEO Kasim Badak said last week via phone from Turkey, but it will have two more stories, rise 4 feet higher and still be the tallest building in South Florida, the project’s architect says.
“The building will take about three to three and a half years to be finished,” said Robert Behar, of Behar Font & Partners Architecture. “The question must have been misunderstood because it’d be hard to build two stories by 2022, much less 72 stories.”
