North Miami focuses on economy, puts off Chinatown plan

Plans to develop a corridor for North Miami’s Chinatown Cultural Arts and Innovation District have been set aside indefinitely as the city concentrates on Covid-19 relief efforts.
In partnership with engineering consulting firm Keith and Schnars, the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency prepared a conceptual design master plan and design guidelines for the Chinatown district, which was to be the first of its kind in South Florida.
