Miami-Dade raises towing rates

Miami-Dade County officially has new rates for vehicle towing, recovery, storage and immobilizations, as commissioners set new tariffs ranging from 10% to 26% increases.
The legislation by Sally Heyman, adopted Oct. 6, raises the rates of towed vehicles without consent and requires towing companies to respond to consumer complaints in 10 days.
