HCA expands key areas of Mercy, Aventura hospitals

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital and HCA Florida Mercy Hospital continue to grow and obtain new technology to serve the community.

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital broke ground on its first freestanding emergency room, HCA Florida Palm Lakes Emergency, in May 2023, said Carolyn Hunter, chief operating officer at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. The first freestanding emergency room was opened Feb. 28 at 18000 NW 57th Ave.
