Aventura’s rail station to be ready in October

By the end of October, riders would be able to use the Aventura rail station being built by Brightline on county land. The $76 million taxpayer-funded station is to connect Brightline trains running from downtown Miami to Aventura and up to Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and eventually to Orlando.

Brightline has completed ceiling framing, HVAC system, the electrical rough [in], and the installation of the window frames, Brian Kronberg, vice president of development for the company, told the Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust last week.
