Miami International Airport adds facial recognition to speed passengers

None of the more than 26 million passengers flying out of Miami International Airport annually will show a boarding pass to enter a plane by the end of this year, airport officials say.
Instead, airlines will use facial recognition software at boarding gates, scanning faces to eliminate the need for a physical boarding pass to be handed over to airline personnel or scanned to permit boarding.
