Miami Dade College turning courtrooms into classrooms

Miami-Dade College is at work remodeling and renovating the David Dyer Courthouse building it acquired in 2016 with the aim to open the doors in late 2025 or early 2026.
“The exterior restoration has been done,” said college President Madeline Pumariega. “The separation from the Atkins Federal Building has been done, and now we’re really into the phase of renovating the areas into museums, galleries, classrooms and community spaces.”
