As US tops pre-covid hotel benchmarks, Miami slips behind

Compared to the same time in 2019, US hotel occupancy rose 2.9%, average daily rate (ADR) soared 19.7%, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) jumped 23.1%, but Miami occupancy is down slightly from pre-pandemic levels, according to research firm STR.
Occupancy in Miami hotels the week of July 2 was 65.7% when in 2019 it was at 72.9%, but ADR is currently $201.64, a great improvement from 2019’s $162.55, and RevPAR increased from $118.43 in 2019 to $132.50 this year during the last week of June, according to STR.
