Downtown Miami about to enjoy a new hotels bonanza

The Miami Central Business District is to get most of the hotel rooms under construction in Miami-Dade in 11 projects with 2,219 rooms to open between March and December, according to industry expert STR.

About three-fourths of all rooms under construction in the county are in the Central Business District, including eight of the 11 hotels, said Daryl Cronk, director of STR’s CoStar Group hospitality market analytics.
