Mary Snow: Managing 18 scholarship funds and 80 donor-advised funds

Mary Snow has led the Coral Gables Community Foundation for almost ten years, almost a third of the foundation’s history, working with donors in efforts to fund community-focused causes, charities, and scholarship grants.

Under her leadership, the foundation has granted over $2 million, and it currently manages over $7 million with 90 corporate partners and donors. The organization also manages 18 scholarship programs and has 80 donor-advised funds managed for local families and individuals in the community. According to the foundation, 2022 has been its most successful year, which Ms. Snow says is due to the community’s generosity.

As a life-long resident, Ms. Snow says Coral Gables is a tight, small neighborhood, with a huge pride and community-oriented values. She hopes to see the organization grow and continue to provide funds to important organizations and needed causes.

Ms. Snow spoke with Miami Today reporter Monica Correa.
