Frank Gonzalez: Orange Bowl Committee’s president preparing for game
With more than 30 years in financial services, several community organizations, philanthropies and through leadership at the Orange Bowl, Frank Gonzalez’ greatest aim, he said, is to give back to the community.
Mr. Gonzalez, who was born and raised in Miami and is working on all the exciting pieces for the Dec. 30 Orange Bowl game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, said details for the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship are in the works.
“I am a very, very big college football fan,” he said, adding that being president of the Orange Bowl in 2022 has been gratifying and he hopes to continue to be part of organizations that help the community through fundraisers and partnerships with companies, local government, and the public.
Mr. Gonzalez spoke with Miami Today reporter Monica Correa.
