Otto Boudet-Murias: Developing Yacht Harbour on Dinner Key, and more
One of the most highly anticipated projects in Coconut Grove is Regatta Harbour, in Dinner Key by Miami City Hall. The project stands to transform the industrial site into a pedestrian-friendly attraction with upscale and casual dining, retail and plenty of green space.
Regatta Harbour also aspires to honor the site’s Pan American Airways history and harmonize with the Grove.
At the helm is the TREO Group LLC, which won a competitive solicitation for redevelopment of the site back in 2013. Otto Boudet-Murias is one of the group’s founders and principals.
Before TREO, Mr. Boudet-Murias had already acquired valuable experience in the public sector, working as an assistant city manager/chief of planning and economic development under former Miami Mayor Manuel Diaz. During his time in government, he worked on the lauded private-public partnership now known as Midtown Miami and witnessed the undertaking of Miami 21, the city’s zoning code.
Mr. Boudet-Murias spoke with Miami Today reporter Gabriel Poblete.
