How many delivery points are there in Miami to mail a letter to? North of 700,000. And six days a week – excluding major holidays – the United States Postal Service (USPS) is delivering to all those delivery points.

In Miami Postmaster Enrique M. Suarez’s 30 years, since he started as a letter carrier right out of school, the postal service has changed. 

But as the postal service has changed, Greater Miami has changed right along with it. As it turns out, nobody may know more of what is going on in our neighborhoods than the USPS. With more than 2,000 pairs of boots on the ground, the USPS is aware and adapting to the changes throughout the region.

Miami Today Reporter Nina Lincoff interviewed Mr. Suarez at his Doral office.
