State transportation team targets four Miami-Dade projects

The Florida Department of Transportation can do four projects in Miami-Dade in the next five years – Krome Avenue upgrades, the I-395 signature bridge in downtown Miami, work on I-95 and the express lane network – District 6 Secretary Jim Wolfe told a county commission committee meeting last week.
There’s also $65,423,646 total funding to support the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) plan in the transportation department’s five-year work program, he said April 6 during County Commission Chair Esteban Bovo Jr.’s Policy Council meeting…To read the full story click here
