Miami Children’s Theater presents “Junie B Jones: The Musical.” It’s Junie B’s first day of first grade and things have already gotten off to a rough start. Junie’s friend Lucille doesn’t want to be her best friend anymore and, to make matters worse, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard, causing her teacher Mr. Scary to think she may need glasses. 3 & 7 p.m. Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 Red Rd., Pinecrest.
