Year-long downtown work will rip up two vital arteries

People traveling to downtown Miami will need extra patience – or maybe a new route – as the Florida Department of Transportation’s District Six is set to begin work July 31 on two heavily traveled roadways. The project is to last at least a year, weather permitting.
The transportation department is repaving and resurfacing Biscayne Boulevard from Southeast Second Avenue to north of Southeast Second Street, and Southeast Second Avenue from Southeast Second to Fourth streets…To read the full story click here
