“Strong leadership” is needed to prevent a recurrence of the widespread loss of electricity that followed Hurricane Irma, Alicia Cervera told fellow board members of Miami’s Downtown Development Authority last month.
“It’s ridiculous that we’re not moving in the direction of burying the lines,” said Ms. Cervera, who is managing partner of Cervera Real Estate. Loss of power cost businesses “tens of thousands of dollars,” she said. “It’s a real problem.”…To read the full story click here
