University of Miami targets Covid 19 treatments, vaccines

University of Miami doctors and researchers are fighting Covid-19 on all fronts, from studying possible treatments and surveying public awareness to participating in Phase Three vaccine trials for a promising new drug.
Last week, it was announced that UM’s Miller School of Medicine, part of the National Institute of Health’s Covid-19 Prevention Trials Network, would be part of a large-scale, nationwide trial of a vaccine developed by biotechnology company Moderna.
