Three new express bus route launches running late

As part of the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit plan, Miami-Dade and its Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) included eight Bus Express Rapid Transit routes, several of which were to launch this year. But three of those launches have been delayed until at least next summer, members of the TPO’s Transportation and Mobility Committee heard last week.
They are the South Miami Express (from the Dadeland North Metrorail station to southern Miami-Dade via state roads 874, 878 and the Florida Turnpike), the South Beach Express (from downtown Miami to the Miami Beach Convention Center via the MacArthur Causeway) and the Florida Turnpike Express (from Doral to southern Miami-Dade via the turnpike), said Aileen Bouclé, TPO executive director…To read the full story click here
