Three county initiatives could trigger employment boomlet

As Miami-Dade’s economy rebounds from a pandemic-driven recession, three county commissioners are proposing separate initiatives that together could create a government employment boom for new high school grads, residents and military personnel entering their last half-year of service.
Items supporting the creation of the three programs received unanimous support in committees last week, clearing them for a final vote May 4.
