State limit on food delivery fees in emergencies urged

Late last year, when Miami-Dade commissioners first spoke of urging lawmakers in Tallahassee to place limits on the fees food delivery apps can charge restaurants during a declared state of emergency, they cited similar actions elsewhere as examples for what should be done in Florida.
By the time the commission officially called for such action last month, twin bills had begun to move through the state legislature aimed at doing just that.
