The City of Miami’s Off-Street Parking Board has approved the purchase and installation of special parking equipment at Jackson Memorial Hospital North Lots.
Parking at the hospital is managed by the Miami Parking Authority, and the lots are used by the hospital’s doctors and employees.
The new equipment from a company named Scheidt and Bachmann will segregate parking for the doctors, according to authority Chief Operating Officer Alejandra Argudin. The cost of $39,437.40 will be fully reimbursed to the parking authority by the hospital, she said.
