South Florida prices rising faster than US average

South Florida consumer prices continue to rise faster than those for the nation as a whole, though in the past two months the gap has narrowed slightly.
As of the end of August, consumer prices in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties had risen 3.6% from the end of August 2017, data released last week by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics showed.
