South Dade won’t get to vote on creating a city

The November election ballot will pose many questions to South Dade residents, but one that will be absent is whether to incorporate a large portion of the area into a new municipality.
A public hearing over two alternatives for incorporation was the main event at Tuesday’s county commission meeting, as scores of residents took turns opining on the idea.
