Roz Berrin honored based on long commercial real estate career

In recognition of a stellar career spanning more than half a century, Roslyn K. Berrin, founder of Berrin Associates –– a Miami-based real estate firm dealing exclusively in land, commercial, industrial and investment properties –– was honored last year with CREW Miami’s first Lifetime Achievement Award. For this accomplishment, she is the winner of Miami Today’s 2020 Silver Medal for an individual.

CREW –– an acronym for Commercial Real Estate Women –– is dedicated to developing and empowering women in the commercial real estate industry. Back in the 1950s, when Ms. Berrin entered the field, there was no such support available. Commercial real estate was dominated by men. When she applied for a job with a local full-service real estate company, she was automatically relegated to residential listings, then considered women’s work.
