Rising transit use closing gap with pre-covid times

Transit ridership in Miami-Dade continues to rise.
In April 2020, total ridership on all three of the county’s main transit modes – Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover – fell by 70.5% compared to volumes from April 2019. Since then, riders have steadily returned, numbers from the county Department of Transportation and Public Works (DPTW) show.
