Retiring university president to run new honors college named for him

Msgr. Franklyn Casale, who is set to retire in February after 25 years as president of private St. Thomas University, will still have a big role in the Catholic school’s future plans. The university is planning on creating an honors college in his name, and he will be the director.
The university’s board of trustees is arranging a $5 million endowment for the Monsignor Franklyn Casale Honors College that is expected to open with the start of the fall semester next year. The participants will be in the top 10% of their class…To read the full story click here
