Resilience plan to end two-year Miami-Dade bus route revamp effort

After more than two years of work, Transit Alliance Miami’s Better Bus Project is on ice, awaiting a time when it can be revised to reflect the needs of a post-coronavirus world.
The good news, said Executive Director Azhar Chougle, is that the work his team did isn’t all for naught; Transit Alliance and Miami-Dade transportation personnel are repurposing insights from the Metrobus route network redesign for a new “resiliency plan” aimed at adjusting the county’s existing transit services to meet demands during the pandemic.
