Renovated Beach convention center ready to boost area economy

The renovated and expanded Miami Beach Convention Center is expected to boost the flow of tourism dollars into our South Florida economy, just as February’s hosting of the Super Bowl will bring a boost to local businesses, according to economic experts and observers in an assessment of what 2020 has in store.
“Miami is a global economy, so what happens in the US and our main international markets is critical to our business and economic outlook,” said Manuel Lasaga, president of StratInfo, a Miami-based economics and finance consulting firm, in an email to Miami Today.
