The Miami City Commission may have voted to end the red light camera program back on Dec. 14, but the program will remain in effect until at least Feb. 26, according to city officials, and will function as normal.

If you receive or have received a ticket you have the option to pay through American Traffic Solutions or appeal the ticket through the Hearing Boards process.

It is necessary to fill out the terms of the contract with the for-profit camera company until the first time it can be canceled without huge penalties.

Contracts ended earlier often result in the for-profit camera companies suing the cities for lost revenue until the allowed earliest date for cancellation without penalties. Remember, the first three things that are critical for the for-profit camera companies are money, Money, and MONEY. The will of the buyers means nothing.
