Recovery team aims to nudge low-skilled workers back to jobs

A group tasked last year with coming up with ideas for how to steer Miami-Dade toward a fast, sustainable economic recovery in the aftermath of Covid-19 will keep working through mid-2021 with a narrower focus.
The main focus of the Covid-19 Economic Recovery Task Force (ERTF) now is finding ways to convince low-skill workers to return to the employment pool, said Commissioner Joe Martinez, whose April 2020 resolution created the 24-seat group.
