Public meeting set on Baywalk and Riverwalk

Written by on June 1, 2018

The Miami Baywalk & Riverwalk Public Outreach Meeting and Design Charrette #3 is set for noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6.

The Miami Downtown Development Authority is putting on these planning sessions. The next one will be First Miami Presbyterian Church, 609 Brickell Ave.

Those interested can get there via Biscayne Trolley, Eighth Street Metromover, or drive and park in the church parking lot. Now that the baywalk and riverwalk are drawing closer to completion, multiple agencies and passionate advocates are working together to unify, brand and activate both the Biscayne Bay and Miami River promenades.

Along with the DDA, the community workshops are organized by Savino Miller Design Studio (planning, landscape architecture and urban design) and RSM Design (branding, graphic design, signage and wayfinding).

Details: Neal Schafers, Miami Downtown Development Authority, (305) 379-6675
