Pandemic’s educational toll victimized youngest students most

The pandemic has had an especially negative impact on Miami-Dade’s youngest learners, who have experienced “regression and learning loss” from the shift to online and mixed teaching formats, school personnel said.
Now, the Miami-Dade Public School Board wants to know exactly how much educational ground was lost and what the best way is to close the gap.
