Overriding bid for delay, Miami pushes bond spending ahead

The Miami city commission has approved the initial $58 million bond issue to fund the first set of Miami Forever Bond projects, but the split vote came only after a contentious and prolonged debate between Commissioner Joe Carollo and the administration.
