No signs of Santa on rooftops, just advertising signs

Air travelers in Miami-Dade could soon have more to look at, as roof signs are on their way to being allowed once again after a 35-year dormancy.
Miami-Dade commissioners are considering an ordinance change sponsored by Chairman-elect Jose “Pepe” Diaz that, if approved, would open the door for rooftop signs in areas zoned for business or industrial use, PortMiami and the City of Miami Urban Core.
