Next Miami scooter pilot seeks visible ID numbers

The next iteration of the City of Miami’s scooter program is set to be considered by the Miami City Commission today (9/12), and with it would come added measures aimed at improving the program.
The updated legislation sponsored by Commissioner Ken Russell, whose district has been the testing ground for the scooter program, would take effect on Oct. 1 for another six months if approved. Mr. Russell had suggested several changes would be coming to the program to improve accountability and safety.
